VW asked Origin to develop an umbrella name for their eco product portfolio to reflect the importance of lower consumption automotive products and a responsible approach to the environment
Standing for more than just low fuel consumption and reduced car emissions, BlueMotion is reflective of the company as a whole. “Blue” is the Volkswagen colour and represents elements such as air and water whilst “Motion” embodies future, forward-looking mobility.
The modern, upbeat tone of BlueMotion also re-enforces the sense that driving enjoyment has not been sacrificed for fuel efficiency.
